Mikhail Uspenskiy took part at the I Public Private Partnership Forum of the Volga Federal District

From 13 to 14 November 2017 in the Main International Centre located at Universiade Village Street in Kazan Public Private Partnership Forum of the Volga Federal District was held for the first time. The Forum was organized by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and Public-Private Partnership Development Center Supported by the Federation Council and Agency for strategic initiatives.

The main purpose of the Forum was consolidation of representatives of federal authority bodies, heads of member states of the Russian Federation included in VFD, representatives of financial organizations and development institutes, construction and infrastructure companies for discussion of key trends in the development of public infrastructure of the Volga region and the elaboration of measures aimed at stimulating private investment in this sector.

KIAP Partner, Head of Tax and Blockchain Technologies practices Mikhail Uspenskiy gave a speech within the panel discussion “Legislative regulation of blockchain technology”, on which leading experts and industry representatives discussed problems of blockchain lawmaking and the potential use of this technology in Russia.

During the Forum investors were also acquainted with infrastructural projects, which are planned to be realized in the Volga Federal District, the most promising of which have received recommendations for improvement from leading industry experts and were  included in the programme  supporting project initiatives, which aims to promote future PPP projects to attract pre-financing and potential partners.
