KIAP, Attorneys at Law became an expert member of MARQUES, the Association of European Trade Mark Owners.
Being an active legal services market participant in the field of intellectual property, KIAP considers the membership in the Association not only as a way to strengthen its position on the IP market in Russia and abroad, but also as a possibility to use in our projects international expertise and advanced experience of the western colleagues, and, finally, to widen the international relations.
MARQUES mission is to be the trusted voice for trademark owners and IP experts, to encourage their professional development offering a platform for the exchange of best practices and networking. The Association is dedicated to the protection and advancement of trade marks and other intellectual property as the basis for fair and effective commerce on domestic and international markets. Moreover, the Association represents its members’ interests before regulatory bodies and in court proceedings as Amicus Curiae.
Established in 1986, the Association is one of the key international coordinators of professional activities of the IP market participants headquartered in the UK. At the moment the membership of MARQUES comes from over 80 countries and represents more than two million trademarks owned by the Corporate Members.
