During October 7-19, 2019 the anniversary fifth international Minsk Legal Forum 2019 (MLF) was held – the most “informal” Forum for representatives of the legal profession. KIAP, Attorneys at Law, traditionally acted as a co-author of the idea and as a partner of the Forum and Andrey Korelskiy, KIAP Managing Partner, moderated the session dedicated to the Client service ethics.
The concept of this year’s Forum was related to the topic “Consulting as viewed by clients”, and the program was dedicated to customer service issues.
Indeed it was one of the most demanded topics for the anniversary MLF based on a survey of participants in 2018. At the Forum, consultants put themselves in the clients’ shoes, calculated their own and others finances, talked about legal PR in the era of digital technologies and the power of personal brand, heard the views of consulting and in-house lawyers, discussed professional ethics in terms of service.
It is already the fifth time the main “Anti-forum” of legal community supports the idea of informal “get-togethers” for discussion of current questions of legal business for the best attorneys, lawyers and partners of the largest law firms of Belarus neighboring countries. The Forum is annually attended by 250 lawyers from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, the EU and other countries from around the world.
