Natalia Kisliakova spoke at the International conference "Sports disputes of modernity in the Republic of Belarus and abroad" in Minsk

On April 11, 2019, in Minsk, at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus, was held the international scientific and practical conference "Sports disputes of modernity in the Republic of Belarus and abroad".

Natalia Kisliakova, attorney of the international commercial arbitration practice of KIAP, Attorneys at Law, head of the sports arbitration Committee of the Council of modern arbitration, made a report on the topic "Interaction of state courts with the sports arbitration courts".

The conference discussed issues of conflicts in sports, the current state and prospects of development of sports law, the possibility of appealing the decisions of national football associations in courts of General jurisdiction, as well as need to improve anti-doping regulation in football. In addition, the speakers talked about the responsibility for the use of doping and prohibited methods in sports at the national level, the theory and practice of dispute resolution in sports, as well as the problems of protecting the rights of athletes in courts of international jurisdiction and other topics.

The event was organized by the Public Association "Belarusian Republican Union of lawyers", the Ministry of sports and tourism of Belarus, the national Olympic Committee, LLC "Yurspektr".

The conference was supported by the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture, the Belarusian State University and the Belarusian State Economic University.
