KIAP Partner Anna Grishchenkova took part at the IBA Annual Conference 2018 in Rome

During October 7-12, 2018 the IBA Annual Conference 2018 was held in Rome, Italy. This year KIAP, Attorneys at law, was represented at the Conference by Anna Grishchenkova, KIAP Partner, Co-Chair of the Young Litigation Lawyers Forum of IBA and 2016-2018 representative of Russia in the IBA Litigation Committee.

Anna Grishchenkova said in Pravo.ru review dedicated to the event that this conference was the eighth for her: “I always remember the first conference in Dubai in contrast, where I only managed “to survive” thanks to the help of my Russian colleagues who took me under the wing. The meeting is very useful for me, as an officer of the litigation committee, it gives me an opportunity to meet with the best practitioners from different jurisdictions and discuss both current joint projects and future ones”.

IBA Annual Conference is one of the main events of the world legal society. Every year more than 5,000 people, about 2,700 corporations and representatives of regulators from different countries participate in the conference. The Russian delegation is not far behind - this year more than fifty representatives of Russian law firms came to share their experience. The conference featured around 200 conference sessions and seminars on various branches of law, in which lawyers from around the world discussed new trends in the development of legal business, main legal changes in various countries that affect the global legal landscape. During the conference a variety of informal receptions and meetings were be held.
