KIAP, Attorneys at law’s conference “Tax audits 2018: how to effectively protect yourself from tax claims” was held on November 22, 2018 in Sheraton Palace hotel. The event was organized for KIAP clients with the purpose to raise the level of competence in the area of tax law.
As speakers of the conference acted: KIAP Tax practice partner Andrey Zuykov and deputy head of Department of tax practice of JSC “Gazprom-media Holding” Denis Bencharskiy. Within the framework of three sessions speakers on the example of real cases discussed the latest challenges of tax law enforcement, raised the most pressing issues and shared their experience and approaches to solve them. The first session was devoted to the problems of unjustified tax benefit and tax integrity, during the second session tax liability and changes in approaches in the period of budget deficit were considered. In the third session speakers discussed with participants different ways to protect against tax claims.
