Anna Grishchenkova speaks at 28th Forum on Fraud, Asset Tracing and Recovery in Geneva
On 19-20 March 2015 Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva hosted the 28th Forum on Fraud, Asset Tracing and Recovery, organized by C5 group. KIAP Partner Anna Grishchenkova spoke at the section “Get the Handcuffs on Quick – or Lock Down the Funds? Managing Parallel Civil and Criminal Proceedings – the Dos and Don’ts”.

Anna outlined the main types of commercial fraud in Russia and key aspects of criminal proceedings, shared the hints and tips on how to choose the correct tactic and gave advice on when there is a need to disclose the documents.

The conference gathered international audience comprised of the most experienced practitioners in the field. During the two-day event the participants discussed the most critical topics in civil fraud area, such as foreign bribery in international business transactions, fraud in financial markets litigation, solutions to the problem of standing in multi-jurisdictional fraud and corruption cases, asset recovery challenges arising from trade and financial sanctions enforcement, the use of unlawfully obtained materials in legal proceedings and other issues.
