Senior associate for dispute resolution, Attorney at law, Ilya Dedkovskiy and IP associate Anastasia Pichugina taught a course on IP Case Engineering for third-year students at Higher School of Economics.
The course took two months to complete and had two parts. The first, called “Procedural framework”, dealt with aspects such as arbitrazh (commercial) litigation in the RF, cause of action and defences, evidence management, pleadings and appeals.
The second part focused on intellectual property disputes as such and covered disputes over invasion of trademark rights, copyright and patent rights, domain name disputes, as well as protection against unfair competition and appeal against IP decisions of government agencies.
