Ilya Ishchuk will co-moderate the session at the annual conference “Antitrust Regulation in Russia”

On 25th of October 2019, the Lotte Hotel Moscow will host a key event in the field of antitrust regulation in Russia and the CIS - the annual conference “Antitrust Regulation in Russia”, organized by the Association of Antitrust Experts and the Vedomosti magazine with the support of the Federal Antimonopoly Service. The 11th conference will bring together more than 70 speakers, including FAS executives and top business executives, and about 400 participants.

The main events that took place in 2019 in the field of antitrust regulation and had significant impact on competition would be considered at the conference. The focus will also be made on issues related to the development of antitrust regulation next year, issues related to the antitrust authority, ensuring the functioning of commodity markets, prevention, limitation and suppression of monopolistic activity and unfair competition.

Ilya Ishchuk, Partner of Antitrust practice at KIAP, Attorneys at Law, will act as a co-moderator of the session “Public Procurement: Freedom is Better than Unfreedom?”. The session will discuss the most sensitive issues of the application of procurement law, relevant for both customers and participants in procurement procedures, and for consultants as well.

The conference will traditionally be attended by representatives of the legislative, executive and judicial authorities, as well as leading lawyers, economists, representatives of corporations, leading business media and representatives of the scientific community.
