KIAP Partner Anna Grishchenkova attended IBA Annual Litigation Forum

On 27-29 April 2016 the annual Litigation Forum was held in San Francisco, USA. Anna Grishchenkova, partner of dispute resolution and international commercial arbitration practices, attended the Forum.

It is Anna’s first IBA conference being an officer of the IBA Litigation Committee, which she became in February 2016.

During the conference the most topical issues were discussed, in particular issues related to high value technology disputes, the latest opinions for the use of litigation as a dispute resolution mechanism in key Asian jurisdictions, as well as the growing clash between privacy and information sharing rules. The latter topic is the most sensitive in the shadow of so called “Panama scandal” and causes many legal issues.

Anna Grishchenkova noted that IBA Litigation Forum is traditionally very popular among the trial lawyers around the world, and to some extent it is a unique platform for the exchange of experience, as well as creating the necessary conditions for carrying of complex litigation processes, including cross-border deals.

The International Bar Association is the world's leading organization of attorneys, judges, bar associations and law firms.
