KIAP Associates became co-organizers and speakers of the "HSE Summer Law School"

Sergey Ilin, Junior Associate of KIAP Litigation practice, became one of the HSE Summer Law School organizers this year. Furthermore, on July 24-25, 2017 the trainings on civil law and procedure were hold by Sergey: he made the talk on obligations and main contract types, named in the Part 2 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, with actual court practice analysis.                                                                                             

On 24 July 2017 Andrey Korelskiy, KIAP Managing Partner, shared with students his own work experience on providing consulting services and made the talk on the main principles of work and requirements for a beginning lawyer, and also gave useful advice to participants on their further professional development. Andrey Korelskiy also spoke about the actual problems of Legal Tech and the trends in IT development in the field of solving legal problems and supplanting the technical and low-skilled work of lawyers with robotic programs and applications.

The Summer Law School is held for the fourth time by the HSE Law Faculty at the picturesque Voronovo vacation hotel near Moscow. The head of the School is Alexander Panov, the HSE lecturer and Abbott Group legal counselor. Participants of the School are talented pupils of 8-10 grades - winners and prize-winners of different kinds of Olympiads on law and social studies. Lectures, seminars on civil, criminal, intellectual, international law, civil and criminal trial, theory of state and law, sociology of law, the securities market, as well as vocational and olympiad trainings are being organized for School participants on a daily basis during the week.

Speakers gained positive response from School organizers and participants. Along with that, KIAP tends to continue further close collaboration in order to help in the HSE Summer Law School organizing in 2018.
