Daria Chernysh is appointed a member of INTA Pro Bono Committee for 2018–2019 term

This week new appointments in professional committees of INTA have been announced. Head of KIAP IP Practice, Trademark Attorney and INTA member, Daria Chernysh, was appointed to be a member of INTA Pro Bono Committee for the term of  2018-2019. The appointment takes effect on January 1, 2018.

This year, more than 3,400 member volunteers applied to serve on INTA committees. INTA's Pro Bono Committee, which started merely as an idea back in 2010, is today proud to carry out its Pro Bono Trademark Clearinghouse Pilot Program, allowing INTA to act as an intermediary to match charitable and other organizations in need of trademark assistance with the formidable abilities of INTA’s attorney members. In addition, the Pro Bono Committee is creating pro bono programs to educate INTA members and publishing Spotlight Articles on firms and individuals involved in pro bono work, developing opportunities of effective cooperation.

The International Trademark Association (INTA) was founded in 1878. Today it is the global association coordinating cooperation of trademark owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks, headquartered in New York City. INTA’s members are more than 7,000 organizations from 190 countries. The Association's member organizations represent some 30,000 trademark professionals, brand owners, scientists and specialists. INTA aims to protect trademarks rights of trademark owners as it is one of the most important elements of effective internal and external trade.
