KIAP Partner Anna Grishchenkova was elected a Co-Chair of the IBA Young Litigators Forum

Anna Grishchenkova, Litigation and International Commercial Arbitration Partner of KIAP, became a Co-Chair of the Young Litigators Forum of the International Bar Association. Anna will occupy the new position for two years. 

One of the main tasks for Anna in a new status will be involvement of young litigators to work within the committee. Anna will also be responsible for running special events for young litigators within the framework of the Litigation Committee events. 

Before the new appointment Anna was holding a post of regional representative of Russia in the IBA Litigation Committee and represented Russian lawyers’ and the whole Russian legal system’s interests in the Committee and also coordinated the work of Russian experts in IBA. The Litigation Committee, being one of the largest and most influential, is a unifying forum for hundreds of litigators from all around the world, including experts in national and cross-border disputes. 

Anna has been actively cooperating with the IBA for many years. In 2017 she gave a speech on the IBA Annual Conference in Sydney within the framework of the joint session of three committees: Litigation, Arbitration and Mediation on the topic "Blame the brain: the science of dispute resolution" and also acted as a moderator of one of the round tables at the IBA Litigation Committee Annual Conference in Zurich. In May of 2018 Anna will act as a moderator of the first opening session at the IBA Litigation Committee Annual Conference in Chicago.
