KIAP Attorney at law Georgy Karaoglanov has been promoted to the Head of Employment practice.
Georgy joined KIAP in 2012, provides legal assistance to most of KIAP’s clients in the sphere of labor law and litigation. Apart from consulting services, Georgy represents the interests of companies in labor disputes with top-managers, as well as in arbitral trials with unfair contractors. During 6 years at KIAP Georgy continually provided legal support to complicated procedures of mass reduction of employees in Russian and foreign companies.
Georgy has huge experience of holding successful negotiations with labor unions in entreprises and consulting upon the full range of migration questions, mainly for representative offices and branches of foreign companies operating in Russia. Besides standard labor disputes on restoration at work, Georgy repeatedly and successfully supported legal cases as for the recovery of bonuses by workers, severance pay and compensation for forced absence from work, calculated from several dozens to several hundreds of millions of rubles. In 2018, Georgy received the status of the Attorney at law.
