Anna Grishchenkova spoke at ICC YAF webinar on “The Challenges of Online Case Management”

On September 15, 2020, a webinar on the topic “The Challenges of Online Case Management”, organized by the ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF), was held.

During the webinar, leading experts in the field of international arbitration discussed the most actual issues that arise in the online arbitration process. On examples from the current ICC practice, the experts talked about how arbitration begins, what stages of preparation of written documents in the case should be followed, gave examples of effective methods of working with witnesses and experts in online conditions, talked about the specifics of preparing for an online hearing, how the online hearing is going on and the nuances of obtaining an electronic arbitration award.

Anna Grishchenkova, Partner of Litigation and International Commercial Arbitration Practice of KIAP, Attorneys at Law, Deputy Chairman of the ICC Russia Commission on Arbitration, acted as speaker of the event and shared practical recommendations on developing a strategy for a dispute, collecting evidence, preparing written documents, and interacting with the client online.

The panel of speakers of the webinar also included: Sergii Melnyk, Deputy Counsel, International Court of Arbitration (ICC); Andrey Panov, Counsel, Allen & Overy Law Firm; Sergey Usoskin, an expert in international law and arbitration, attorney at Double Bridge Law; and Natalya Gulyaeva, Managing Partner of Hogan Lovells Moscow office.
