KIAP, Attorneys at law, has launched a new division “Government Procurement: legal support and disputes” within Antitrust practice

A new division within Antitrust practice has been launched in view of an increasing demand from KIAP Principals to get the qualified assistance in government procurement area, especially in complex conflict situations.

In terms of “Government Procurement: legal support and disputes” division KIAP lawyers will advise Clients on procurement compliance and will represent their interests in courts and enforcement agencies in matters related to governmental and public procurement supervision, as well as contract execution.

New division will be led by Maxim Buzin, who has more than 10 years of successful experience in civil, antitrust and competition relations and provided a solid support in litigation and administrative procedures. Prior to joining KIAP Maxim led litigation teams in commercial companies as well as worked for a Russian law firm. Maxim graduated from the law department of Moscow State University.

Partner Ilya Ischuk will supervise the division. “In any country of the world, the state stands in as the largest consumer, and our country is no exception. The government procurement market in Russia is now actively developing: the procedures become more understandable and “transparent”, new technologies are being introduced, innovative electronic platforms are emerging.
