Anna Grishchenkova spoke at C5 Conference “International Disputes & Asset Recovery involving Russian & CIS Parties” in London

From 29 to 30 January 2019, the 8th annual conference “International Disputes & Asset Recovery involving Russian & CIS Parties” organized by C5, one of the largest agencies organizing business events, took place in London.

Litigation and International Commercial Arbitration Partner of KIAP Anna Grishchenkova presented a speech on “The role of courts in providing assistance to arbitration” at the panel discussion “Resolving Corporate and Shareholder Disputes involving Russian and/or CIS Parties”.

Among other most important questions of this discussion can be highlighted: arbitrability of large scale corporate disputes in relation to international commercial arbitrations, corporate disputes regarding ownership of shareholdings and securities registration as well as benefits of combining offshore and onshore dispute resolution strategies.

KIAP International Commercial Arbitration practice was formed in a separate division in 2014. Anna is also a Regional Ambassador at HK45 - Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre’s committee (HKIAC). Included into list of arbitrators in Austria (VIAC), Kuala Lumpur (AIAC), Hong Kong (HKIAC), Russia (RAA), the Board Member of the Arbitration Center. Author of the book “Psychology and persuasion skills in the course of judicial proceedings”. The practice represents clients’ interests in international commercial arbitration in Russia and abroad, as well as before Russian courts in matters involving recognition and enforcement of international commercial arbitration awards, provides consultations on arbitration agreements, its validity and enforceability, on facilitation of out-of-court settlements and on strategies for international commercial arbitration.
