Anna Grishchenkova spoke at the “Russian Law Week 2018” in London
“Russian Law Week 2018” took place from 12 to 14 November 2018 in London. The event was organized by The Bar Council with support of the Anglo-Russian Law Association, the Russian Federal Chamber of Lawyers, the Moscow Chamber of Advocates and other partners. The topic of this year’s conference was “Legal Dialogue without borders”.
The main purpose of the event is to strengthen business relationships between two countries. Among the main topics for discussion were latest legal developments in FinTech, update on arbitration reform in Russia, ethics in international arbitration and today’s most current one - sanctions, anti-sanctions and their economics and legal effects.
Anna Grishchenkova, KIAP Litigation and International Commercial Arbitration Partner, acted as a speaker of the fifth session, devoted to Soft skills for the 2020s. Within the framework of panel discussion Anna has discussed with participants such important topics as Women, leadership and advancing legal career, effective influencing skills and work life balance. “I like this conference very much and would like to thank the organizers for the invitation. Colleagues held this event for the fifth time no matter what. There are no incidental people – each one of them works in collaboration on Russian-British project and is interested in the continuation of the partnership. That’s why it is always of great pleasure to see old friends and meet new people”, - commented Anna.
Russian Law Week is held in London for the fifth time. Among the participants of this year were lawyers, practicing in Russia and Great Britain, as well as representatives of international companies.
