Anna Grishchenkova spoke at the “Commercial Litigation & Arbitration Forum – 2019” in London

On November 5, 2019 the “Commercial Litigation & Arbitration Forum – 2019” was held in London. The event was hosted by the ALM, publisher of Legal Week and The American Lawyer.

The primary objective of the Forum was to discuss the most relevant topics and key issues of the commercial arbitration worldwide during turbulent times. Among the most important topics within the program were political turbulence and it’s impact on international arbitration and litigation, the role of senior managers in managing of mental health issues within the company’s legal team, an update on the new UK litigation cases, as well as an interview with the LCIA CEO.

Anna Grishchenkova, Litigation and International Commercial Arbitration Partner of KIAP, Attorneys at Law, moderated a session “Psychology Of Decision-Making Process In Dispute Resolution”. During discussion the participants explored the physiological characteristics of the human decision-making process: the inner workings of the brain and how does subconscious impact, explored cultural differences in the evaluation of arguments, as well as the psychological influences on witnesses during interrogation and testimony.

Forum is an international platform and a meeting place for leading lawyers from the UK, USA and Russia to exchange experiences and engage through open debate, discussion panels, interactive breakout sessions and less formal evening drinks reception.
