Anna Grishchenkova will speak at the IBA Annual Conference 2019 in Seoul

During September 22-27, 2019 the IBA Annual Conference will be held in Seoul, South Korea. KIAP, Attorneys at law, will be represented at the Conference by Anna Grishchenkova, KIAP Partner, Co-Chair of the Young Litigation Lawyers Forum of IBA and regional representative of Russia in the IBA Litigation Committee during 2016-2018.

IBA Annual Conference is one of the main events of the world legal society. Every year more than 5,000 lawyers, about 2,700 corporations and representatives of regulators from different countries participate in the conference. The Russian delegation is also growing every year - more than 30 representatives of Russian law firms will come to share their experience this year. The IBA Annual Conference 2019 program includes more than 200 sessions and seminars in various fields of law. The culmination of the program will be the Rule of Law Symposium, main topic of which will become the issue of the persecution of lawyers and judges and threats to the independence of the legal profession. During the conference’s sessions lawyers from around the world will traditionally discuss new trends in the development of legal business, main legal changes in various countries that affect the global legal landscape. During the conference a variety of informal receptions and meetings will be held.

Anna Grishchenkova, Litigation and International Commercial Arbitration Partner of KIAP, Attorneys at law, will take part at the Litigation Committee’s session devoted to the ways to cope in practice management. During the session, participants will discuss how to stay productive in the long run and how to cope effectively with the mental and physical toll that the legal profession can exert on the today’s lawyer. This year’s conference will be the 9th IBA Annual Conference for Anna Grishchenkova, she took part in.
