The Law Firm Successfully Represents the Interests of the Danish Company, Rockwool

The Federal Arbitration Court of Moscow District has upheld the judicial acts of the lower arbitrage courts that had accepted as illegal all the arguments of the Interdistrict Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Moscow region with respect to the Danish industrial holding company, Rockwool.

As a result, Rockwool has obtained the right to be refunded substantial taxes and penalties which were illegally charged.  This will set a positive precedent for further cases based on similar facts.

The Client's interests were represented by the head of the firm's tax practice, Oleg Bazhenov.

The Rockwool Group is the world’s leading supplier of firesafe insulation products based on stone wool, designed for all types of building construction, as well as for shipbuilding, industrial equipment, pipelines and air ducts. The Group owns 22 factories in 14 countries around the world, in Europe, North America and Asia.
