Specializes in dispute resolution, including corporate-related disputes, as well as insolvency proceedings. Has extensive experience of representing insolvency practitioners, creditors, and debtors in cases involving subsidiary liability, challenging fraudulent transactions and the inclusion of creditors’ claims into the list.

Prior to joining the KIAP team, worked at a major Russian law firm specializing in dispute resolution and bankruptcy proceedings for individuals and legal entities.

Studied abroad at Seoul National University (South Korea) as part of an international academic exchange program.

Dispute resolution

  • Representing one of the leading Korean manufacturers of automotive parts in a dispute against a Russian automobile plant.
  • Representing a seller in a dispute involving the sale of shares in a legal entity with the application of Russian counter-sanctions laws.
  • Engaged in representing a German bank from an Italian group of companies in a dispute related to bank guarantees worth several hundred million euros.

Bankruptcy

  • Advising on the bankruptcy proceedings of a machine-building enterprise with creditor claims exceeding RUB 1 billion.
  • Engaged in the subsidiary liability claim against the controlling parties of a real estate development entity.
  • Engaged in the dispute concerning the set-off of 42 million RUB mutual claims between a debtor and its foreign creditor in bankruptcy proceedings.
  • Engaged in the dispute against insolvency practitioner for breach of duty by neglecting to pursue a debt of 80 million RUB.
  • Advising on the bankruptcy proceedings of an individual with complexities arising from the debtor's demise.
  • Engaged in the dispute to void sale and set-off agreements and secure the return of promissory notes to the insolvency estate.

Success cases
The former counterparty of the client — one of the largest Russian manufacturers and suppliers of plumbing fixtures—filed a lawsuit seeking recovery of lost profits after the repudiation of their contract.
