Associate of KIAP IP practice, joined the team in 2018. Viacheslav has over 4 years of working experience as an IP lawyer. His main specialization is brand protection matters both in judicial and extra judicial procedures. Viacheslav represents clients in protection of IP interests in law-enforcement authorities, in negotiations and in courts. Prior to joining KIAP, Viacheslav worked in a Russian law firm consulting Russian and foreign clients in the field of IP rights protection. Speaks English and French fluently.

  • Representing world-famous company-producer of shoes and apparel in courts upon use of the signs confusingly similar to the client’s registered trademarks with compensation award in favour of the company.
  • Protection of the world-famous universal lubricant producer in relation with sales and import of counterfeit goods, including cooperation with the customs authorities and the police.
  • Negotiations with major Russian apparel retail-nets with subsequent settlement agreements signing while representing popular sport brand due to use of the signs confusingly similar to the client’s registered trademarks.
