During April 8-10, 2020 the IV Tax Online Marathon was held, organized on the basis of the international media project CFOCAFE and the FINTAX.TOP platform. In the form of an online live stream the best tax lawyers of Russia and international tax experts gathered to share their experience on how to pass tax audits successfully and protect the position of the business in court.
Within three days speakers reviewed all key changes in legislation, new trends in judicial practice and together helped hundreds of participants to find effective approaches to tax planning, developed recommendations for the correct “tax behavior” relevant in the era of digitalization and global tax changes.
Andrey Zuykov, Partner of KIAP Digital & Smart Tax practice, spoke during the online marathon with the topic “Pre-trial vs judicial appeal of tax audit results: benefits and trends”. Andrey talked about the effective ways of appealing the results of tax audits and pre-trial settlement of disputes, told about the possibilities of appealing procedural violations and requirements of tax authorities.
The online marathon was attended by over 500 participants. Among the participants of the online conference traditionally were present financial directors, chief accountants and heads of tax departments.
