Meeting with the Representatives of the International Commission of Jurists Mission in Moscow

Today Mikhail Samoylov, senior attorney at Korelskiy, Ischuk, Astafiev & Partners, Attorneys at Law met with representatives of the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ). The meeting was attended by the judge of the Supreme Court of South Africa Azar Kachaliya, senior legal adviser to the program in Europe Roushin Pillay, and legal advisors Alejandro Salinas (Chile) and Timur Shakirov.

At the meeting the sides exchanged views on the issue of disciplinary responsibility of judges in Russia, which today is the issue to be researched by the international commission. The meeting participants agreed to continue cooperation and discussion within preparation for the commission's report dedicated to this important issue for further improving the legal system in Russia.
