On September 11-13, 2012 a number of events were held in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan the city of Kazan, within the scope of the annual Day of Competition in Russia. The Partner of Korelskiy, Ischuk, Astafiev and Partners, Attorneys at Law’s antimonopoly practice Anna Numerova took part in the international workgroups on competition issues related to allowing preferential treatment and competition on pharmaceuticals markets, an enlarged session of the Board of the Federal Antimonopoly Service and the meeting held by the Non-Commercial Partnership For Assistance and Promotion of Competition in the CIS and the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation with the Interstate Council on Antimonopoly Policies, along with other events as well as in the opening ceremony at the Training and Methodology Center of the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
The events were attended by the leaders of anti-competition agencies of foreign countries and the countries participating in the CIS, representatives of several international organizations and integration agencies (the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, BRICS, the European Commission, the Eurasian Economic Commission, the CIS Executive Committee), the country’s leaders and the leaders of the Republic of Tatarstan.
