KIAP Partner Anna Grishchenkova was elected a new regional representative of Russia in the IBA Litigation Committee

Anna Grishchenkova, partner of dispute resolution and international commercial arbitration practice areas, became an officer of the IBA Litigation Committee. This Committee, being one of the largest and most influential in the International Bar Association, is a unifying forum for hundreds of litigators, including experts in cross-border disputes. 

A prospective regional representative is elected by the Committee board based on recommendations of both current IBA members and recent officers of the IBA committees. Anna will occupy the position of the regional representative for two years. 

In her new position Anna will represent Russian lawyers and the whole Russian legal system in the Committee. Anna will also lead Russian experts, both currently employed by the IBA and those who plan to join the Association. 

The International Bar Association is the world's leading organization of attorneys, judges, bar associations and law firms. The IBA, established in 1947, influences the development of international law reform and shapes the future of the legal profession throughout the world.

The Association has a membership of more than 80,000 individual lawyers and more than 180 bar associations and law societies spanning over 160 countries, and has considerable experience in providing assistance to the global legal community. 

Anna has been actively cooperating with the IBA for several years. She is one of the most invited Russian speakers in various conferences held by the Association. Moreover, Anna was among the editors of the IBA handbook “Multi-Tiered Dispute Resolution Clauses”, which was published following the results of the IBA 2015 annual conference. She was responsible for editing the section which focused on dispute resolution clauses in Russia.
