Aybek Ahmedov, an acknowledged expert in shipping law joined the team of Korelskiy, Ischuk, Astafiev, and Partners, Attorneys at Law, as a partner and head of shipping and transport practice.
Aybek has vast experience in shipping and marine insurance law, international sales law, and foreign economic activity. Aybek's professional career started in the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan where he was promoted from a specialist to the head of front-office. Over the following several years, he worked for the American Bar Association in Uzbekistan. Subsequently, Aybek acquired sound experience by working for Hertz Europe Ltd. in London as a business analyst and a legal advisor for Baltic Marine Broker, a Latvian consulting firm.
Aybek is the author of the Legal Abstract project, the first-of-its-kind resource offering brief summaries, reviews of legal books concerning English and American law as well as other systems of law.
Aybek Ahmedov is a graduate of the Law School at Fergana State University and earned a LLM degree from University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK) in International Commercial and Business Law.
