KIAP Becomes an AmCham Member

Korelskiy, Ischuk, Astafiev and Partners, Attorneys at Law became a corporate member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia (the AmCham), the largest and one of the most influential public non-profit organizations working to contribute to creating favourable business climate for business activities of foreign companies on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Established in 1994, the American Chamber of Commerce today represents interests of more than 750 businesses, all large U.S. corporations operating in Russia and large European and Russian companies that carry out their business activities on international markets.  The Chamber plays a role of a connecting link between its members, high-rank officials and business leaders in the United States and in Russia.  The Chamber is putting its efforts to identify the issues and to achieve solutions that would be mutually beneficial, in order to further development of trade relations between the Russian Federation and international community.

Membership in the Chamber will allow the Firm to broaden its opportunities for expansion of business contacts among those representing the largest foreign and Russian companies and to reach for joint productive decisions in law-making, the area fundamentally important for representation of interests of international companies on the territory of Russia.

By becoming a member of the American Chamber of Commerce, KIAP obtained a channel to influence legislative process, submit proposals to the members of the Chamber, to comment on legal matters and to put forward initiatives aimed at further improvement of the level of service for the foreign businesses operating in Russia.
