On 1 March 2018 the results of Pravo-300 “Sympathy rating”, demonstrating not clients’ feedbacks but marks of colleagues from other law firms, were announced. The results of this rating are traditionally summed up later than the announcement of the leaders of the main competition, published at the end of the past year. “Sympathy ranking” is composed on the basis of results of lawyers’ survey, within which they are offered to name five law firms (except their own one), which have the highest professional reputation on Russian legal services market in their opinion.
According to the results of 2017 ranking, KIAP, Attorneys at law, took first place in the “Overall Sympathy rating”. In Top-5 also are included: Egorov, Puginsky, Afanasiev & Partners, Pepeliaev Group, Goltsblat BLP and Dentons.
According to personal “Sympathy rating”, four KIAP partners are being recommended by colleagues from other law firms: Ilya Ischuk (Antitrust law), Andrey Korelskiy (Arbitration), Alexey Sizov (Foreign trade) and Anna Grishchenkova (International Commercial Arbitration).
Within the framework of the survey lawyers were also offered to name three best law firms in each of the 19 presented areas of law – as a result the industry “Sympathy rating” was made. KIAP got recommendations in 10 areas: Atritrust law, Arbitration, Commercial Real Estate/ Construction, Corporate law/ M&A, International Arbitration, Dispute resolution, Employment law, TMT, Finance/ Banking law, Healthcare and Pharmacology.
This year’s ranking results have shown – consultants demonstrate growing ability to admit qualification of their colleagues on the market and recommend their services. More than 500 respondents took part in the survey – the respondents were comprised of managing partners, partners and heads of practices of law firms included in the main “Pravo.ru-300” rating of 2017.
