Anna Numerova Acting as the Moderator for the Session on Approval of Economic Concentration Transactions during the Conference on Antimonopoly Regulations in Russia

On October 26, 2012, the IVth annual conference Antimonopoly Regulations in Russia organized by non-commercial partnership For Support of Competition, Vedomosti newspaper, with further support by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) was held in Moscow, at the Ritz-Carlton hotel. Anna Numerova, the partner of the antimonopoly practice group of Korelskiy, Ischuk, Astafiev and Partners, Attorneys at Law, acted as the moderator for the session Matters Important during Approval of Economic Concentration Transactions.

During the session, the most important problem-causing issues that may arise while obtaining approvals with respect the economic concentration transactions including those with foreign participation have been discussed. Specifically, the types of data used by FAS for the purposes its decisions or rulings, in addition to the market share or the information provided directly by business entities.

The conference was attended by senior managers of FAS Russia, leading lawyers and economists specializing in the matters of competition law, members of business community.
