KIAP Team Chooses Design Thinking
From July 3rd to the 11th at the British Higher School of Art and Design under the glare of TV cameras for the TV channel Success hosted a nine day intensive project on Design Thinking: The Outer Limits. Marketing Director Irina Bulygina and partner Mikhail Uspenskiy participated in the project and had the opportunity to learn modern approaches in the application of design thinking as a way to solve management problems in business and innovative entrepreneurship.

During this time, our creative colleagues studied the key principles of design thinking, participated in several design studies and familiarized themselves with the experience of implementing techniques for design-thinking for Fortune 500 companies based in Silicon Valley.

The teachers of the course included Russian and foreign experts specializing in design thinking: Oliver Kempkens, a graduate of d.school in Potsdam, a consultant for the Russian subsidiary of SAP; Angus Colvin, Senior Lecturer at the British Higher School of Art and Design; Alexander Pavlovich, head of product design for the company Beeline; Kirill Anastasin, head of the presentation group for the tech firm Yandex and Ekaterina Androshina, a graduate of Stanford University’s faculty of Computer Science, an expert and consultant in the field of design thinking. The program methodology was developed by a Maria Stashenko, a leading Russian expert in the field of design management and innovative teaching.
