On 30 April 2020, KIAP, Attorneys at Law, held a webinar on the topic "Actual Issues of Intellectual Property Protection in Pharmaceuticals", which was attended by clients and partners of the law firm.
During the online event the participants analyzed contentious issues related to the trademark rights and patents protection: early termination of trademarks, corporate identity eligibility, prior use and after-use, compulsory licenses. The regulatory aspects of the pharmaceutical industry that affect the protection of intellectual property were highlighted, as well as legislative changes that may affect the pharmaceutical industry.
The speaker of the webinar was Anastasia Skovpen, associate of KIAP IP practice.
The webinar was attended by representatives of major international and Russian pharmaceutical companies: heads of legal departments, as well as representatives of GR and Compliance.
