From March 14 to 22, following the pre-moots, the oral hearings of the 23rd Willem C. Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot were held in Hong Kong. In 2026, more than 160 teams participated in the competition.
The HSE University team (Team 904), which includes KIAP Junior Associate Dinara Ibragimova, was awarded an Honourable Mention for one of the best memoranda submitted on behalf of the Respondent. One of the team’s coaches is KIAP Junior Associate Artem Gritsuk.
Earlier, we also reported that KIAP Anastasiya Ryabova participated as an arbitrator at the VIII Belgrade Open Pre-Moot and the Boston Vis Pre-Moot, where she evaluated oral presentations by teams from the University of Buenos Aires, Masaryk University, Mackenzie Presbyterian University, the University of Würzburg, the University of Zagreb, Istanbul University, the University of Padua, Bocconi University, Kadir Has University, Sorbonne Law School in Cairo, the National University of Lesotho, and Babeș-Bolyai University.
