From 17 to 18 November, 2017 in Krasnodar took place the IX Annual Conference "Legal Forum of the South of Russia" organized by “Vedomosti-South”, law firm “Stepanov & Aksuk” (Rostov-on-Don), international law firm Dentons and Advocates Bureau Yug (Krasnodar).
KIAP Partner Anton Samokhvalov acted as a moderator of the session “Current problems of the Corporate law”, within the framework of which participants have discussed the most actual trends in corporate disputes, considered different M&A deals with arbitral clauses and liability of directors before shareholders and problems of challenging of deals with the Director outside his competence.
In the format of round tables and panel discussions, the participants summed up the results of the judicial practice of the current year and discussed trends for the next year. Among the main topics were discussed the issues on the state and prospects of decriminalization of business, features of effective governance in the era of market reforms, as well as Legaltech revolution.
The IX Annual Conference “Legal Forum of the South of Russia” is a unique platform created for open dialogue, exchange of opinions and experience between heads of legal businesses, corporate lawyers, external consultants, judges and attorneys.
