10th Annual IBA Mergers and Acquisitions in Russia and CIS Conference was held on November 16th in Hotel Baltschug Kempinski, Moscow, Russia. The conference was presented by the IBA Corporate and M&A Law Committee, supported by the Federal Chamber of Lawyers. For the tenth time, the event brought together leading world experts in the field of economics and law to discuss the latest trends in the M&A market in Russia and the CIS.
Anton Samokhvalov, Partner and Head of Corporate / M&A practice, spoke at the Session devoted to «M&A disputes in arbitration and litigation». This session was held in the form of a mock case, where Russian and foreign counsels will discuss the pros and cons of applying Russian law (as opposed to English Law) in M&A transactions, as well various dispute resolution options available to parties of M&A transactions.
