On September 28, 2020 the results of the annual international ranking World Tax 2021 (Russia), issued in association with the International Tax Review, were published. Covering almost 90 jurisdictions located on every continent, the ranking is the main source for tax professionals, assessing the expertise of leading tax lawyers in various countries.
This year, the ranking includes more than 2,900 firms from all over the world reaching out 10,000 clients and 2,700 experts for feedback.
KIAP, Attorneys at Law, was ranked by the rating near the top for a second successive year in two practice areas at once:
- General Corporate Tax, sharing Tier 3 with such law firms as White & Case, Linklaters, ЕПАМ, CMS Russia, etc., and
- Tax controversy, where the Tax practice of KIAP was assigned to Other notable.
The World Tax guide rates the tax expertise offered in various jurisdictions, giving tax executives the most comprehensive information about the market for tax advice. The ranking is unique among directories as it classifies companies, providing professional consulting services, professional services, law firms and other tax advice providers together, rather than looking at them separately.
