IP Academy is an international educational conference on intellectual property and patenting, which has been held at the Skolkovo Innovation Center since 2014. The purpose of the conference is to cover a wide range of relevant topics in the field of patenting, copyright and intellectual property protection in the digital age. The IP Academy became the successor of the famous Skolkovo Patent School, incorporating it’s best practices and traditions and significantly expanding the range of issues discussed. Within the framework of the conference, sessions, master classes and discussions are being held, during which participants have the opportunity to communicate and exchange experience with leading Russian and foreign experts in the field of IP, discuss practical problems of patent protection, main educational trends in IP, the impact of new technologies on intellectual property ownership and other relevant industry topics.
