On February 19, 2020 at the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation on the initiative of the Opora Russia, Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Moscow Regional Department of Delovaya Russiya, Moscow City Department of Opora Russia, Moscow Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and Moscow Association of Entrepreneurs, a round table was held on the topic “The Role and Importance of Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment in Russia nowadays”.
During the event the participants discussed an issue of promoting entrepreneurship in Russia, reviewed examples of successful businesses and entrepreneurs, got familiarized with business technologies and mechanisms of governmental support for entrepreneurship. Partner, Head of Tax Practice of KIAP, Attorneys at Law, Andrey Zuykov spoke about tax risks and challenges that business faces nowadays, made suggestions for working out draft laws on increasing business security and raising certainty in tax matters.
Further, one of the key issues of the round table was the discussion of possible ways to appeal to the Government and other interested parties with a proposal to support the work of forming among range of populations an attitude towards entrepreneurs as a creative force working for the success of all and everyone.
