On September 24-25 the III Russia-U.S. conference Current Antimonopoly Laws and Court Precedents in Russia and the U.S. was held at Lotte Hotel Moscow. It has been the third consecutive year the Partner of KIAP’s antimonopoly practice Anna Numerova was speaking at this annual event. This time her speech touched on recovery of damages from competitors when caused by a violation of the antimonopoly laws. Anna spoke about the opportunities that exist in Russia and the European approach.
The event was held jointly by the Justice Department of the United States and the Supreme Commercial Court of the Russian Federation.
During the conference participants learned about existing approaches in application of antimonopoly laws in Russia and the United States and talked about major issues arising in courts during examination of cases on violations of antimonopoly laws
