As an expansion of its intellectual property practice group, the team of Korelskiy, Ischuk, Astafiev and Partners, Attorneys at Law now has a new participant, Patent Attorney Dmitriy Markin.
Dmitry has successfully graduated from the Department of Chemical Industry at the Moscow State Textile University named after A.N. Kosigin and the Law Department of the Russian Federal Institute of Intellectual Property. Currently Dmitriy is a post-graduate student at the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property, under the specialty Civil Law.
Since April 2012 Dmitriy has a status of the Patent Attorney of the Russian Federation (No. 1428), with the specialties of “Inventions” and “Useful Models”.
Dmitriy has substantial experience of consulting on the issues related to intellectual property. From 2005 until 2011 he held positions as the State Patent Attorney with the Industry Section and later with the Section of Litigation Representation at the Rospatent Federal Institute of Industrial Property.
Since 2011 Dmitriy led the intellectual property practice for the group of companies Volga-Dnepr Group.
Currently Dmitriy is a member of the Chamber of Patent Attorneys professional association.
