Konstantin Suvorov Speaks at Film Finance Forum Moscow 2011

On 24 June, 2011 in Radisson Royal Hotel, Moscow, in the frames of the 33rd Moscow International Film Festival, for the first time in Russia there was held one of the most prestigious events of the film industry – Film Finance Forum 2011.  Konstantin Suvorov – partner, head of the intellectual property practice made a report on legal risks related to the production and distribution of movies in Russia during the session “Protecting Your Money: Investment and Risk Management”.

The event was organized by an international event agency Winston Baker, one of the leaders in the entertainment industry, in association with a popular weekly Variety, which covers the events of the world of show-business, and in conjunction with Parallel Media, specializing in financing and production of movies.  Corporate Finance Bank acted as an official sponsor of the Forum.

International Film Finance Forum is held annually in such film-capitals as Cannes, Los Angeles, New York, and Singapore, and it gathers the most influential figures in business and cinema.

Key speaker of the Moscow Forum was Lorenzo di Bonaventura, who formed his own production company Di Bonaventura Pictures based at Paramount Pictures. Since its inception, the company has produced such box-office hits “Transformers” and “Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen”, “Shooter”, “G.I. Joe: Rise Of The Cobra”, “RED”, “SALT”, “Ocean’s Eleven” and other films.
