KIAP Partner Anna Grishchenkova will speak at the IBA Annual Conference 2017 in Sydney

During October 8-13, 2017 the IBA Annual Conference will be held in Sydney, Australia. This year KIAP, Attorneys at law, will be represented at the Conference by Partner Anna Grishchenkova.

Anna Grishchenkova, partner of Litigation and International Commercial Arbitration practices, as well as the regional representative of Russia in the IBA Litigation Committee, will speak within the framework of the joint session of three committees: Litigation, Arbitration and Mediation on the topic "Blame the brain: the science of dispute resolution". This session aims to explore the science behind the instincts, intuitions and experience of experienced mediators, and considers the latest research on how and why disputants and counsel behave the way they do at mediations. During her speech Anna will share her experience with colleagues and explain how does the psychology affect the process of litigation.

IBA Annual Conference
is one of the main events of the world legal society. The 2016 Conference was attended by a record number of participants - exceeding 6,000 delegates from around the world. The Conference featured around 200 conference sessions and seminars on various branches of law, in which lawyers from around the world discussed new trends in the development of legal business, main legal changes in various countries that affect the global legal landscape. During the conference a variety of informal receptions and meetings will be held.
