On 30 October, 2017 KIAP Litigation and International Commercial Arbitration Partner and Arbitrator of Arbitration Center Anna Grishchenkova spoke for retired judges – arbitrators of Arbitration Center at the Institute of Modern Arbitration within the framework of series of lectures on the peculiarities of arbitration.
The Arbitration Center is one of the first permanent arbitration institutions, which have obtained the right to arbitrate in accordance with the new Russian Federal Law on Arbitration. The Center was created at the Institute of Modern Arbitration, focused on the development and promotion of arbitration in Russia, as well as raising the attractiveness of Russian jurisdiction as a place of business and the resolution of civil disputes. Into the list of arbitrators were included representatives of legal firms, attorneys, teachers of the best law schools, experienced arbitrators of Russian and foreign arbitration institutes. Arbitration rules 2017 provide an opportunity to identify the most convenient and flexible dispute resolution procedure for parties and arbitrators, and reflect the best of global trends in the field of arbitration.
