Anna Grishchenkova acts as a speaker at CEAC International conference in Hamburg

From 13 to 15 September, 2018 the 10th anniversary Chinese European Arbitration Centre (CEAC) conference is held in Hamburg, Germany. In 2018 the main topic of the occasion became the Chinese initiative “One belt one road”. The conference is to be attended by lawyers with an interest in China, leading arbitration practitioners, international lawyers and representatives of business community.

“One belt one road” project is an important part of China's intention for establishment of a new world economic and financial order. The conference will analyse to what extent it relates to different common and civil law legal orders and how to build bridges to overcome the diversity of the legal systems, both from a contractual (substantive) perspective with the help of the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts and the CISG and from an arbitration law perspective.

Anna Grishchenkova, Litigation and International Commercial Arbitration Partner of KIAP, Attorneys at law, attends the occasion as a representative of Russian Arbitration Center at the Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration. Anna will speak in the first part of the conference within the framework of “What do arbitration institutions offer to OBOR arbitrations” session and in the second part of the conference in session devoted to “Common Law and Civil Law Perspective of the UNDROIT Principles”.

CEAC was founded in 2008 in Hamburg on the base of Chinese European Legal Association (CELA). By now CEAC established itself within the international arbitration and trade community.
