In a bankruptcy case, KIAP lawyers managed to prove that the company became bankrupt as a result of unfair conduct of the business owner.
It is worth noting that KIAP lawyers joined the wife as a co-defendant in the case alongside with the formal beneficiary as she was secretly, but actively involved in the business development. As a result, the proceedings have become more complicated and required to provide collateral proof of involvement of each defendant in the company's bankruptcy, but it allowed to increase the chances of actual enforcement of judgements and repayment of the company's debt.
Courts of three instances supported the position of KIAP lawyers representing the bankruptcy estate of the debtor, held business owners jointly and severally liable and awarded them more than 350 million RUB.
