KIAP Law Firm Ranked Among Leaders in Pravo.Ru Federal Litigation Ranking

Date: 25.05.2026

On May 25, 2026, Pravo.ru published the results of its tenth annual litigation research, which evaluates the efficiency and performance of law firms in court disputes.

Based on the results of 2025, KIAP Law Firm was ranked among the TOP-15 firms in the federal study, securing a Band 2 position in the category for firms with 30 or more projects: Federal Study, Large Practices (30+ projects) – 2026.

This achievement reinforces the high-level expertise of our dispute resolution lawyers and demonstrates consistent performance in handling complex litigation projects.

Furthermore, Andrey Korelskiy, Managing Partner at KIAP, contributed to this special issue as an expert. Commenting on the research findings, he noted the growing inconsistency in judicial practice regarding commercial and corporate disputes. According to Mr. Korelskiy, this trend affects both the quality and timeframe of case reviews, particularly in high-profile matters. Judges have become increasingly cautious due to the restructuring within the Supreme Court, personnel changes, and corruption scandals within the judicial community. Methodology

Platform analysts conducted a comprehensive review of judicial practice across Russian commercial courts for the year 2025. The sample included 4,574 final judgments, which formed the basis for 9 thematic rankings.

Market Trends

In 2025, the average claim value increased by nearly 78%. The number of commercial disputes rose by 36%, while specific standalone disputes within bankruptcy proceedings decreased by 15%. Meanwhile, the volume of cases involving state authorities remained virtually unchanged, though their average value nearly doubled.

Businesses continue to approach litigation with greater deliberation, carefully assessing expenses, chances of success, and the probability of actual enforcement of court rulings. This shift is driven not only by rising court fees but also by a lack of confidence in the judiciary. Consequently, one of the key responsibilities of a lawyer today is to demonstrate to the client whether litigation is truly necessary and what outcome it can realistically yield.

KIAP Law Firm extends its gratitude to the analysts at Pravo.ru for their extensive work. Such research plays a vital role in the advancement of the legal industry, helping market participants navigate current trends and quality standards.
