Anna Grishchenkova acted as table moderator at Vienna arbitration days 2018

From 19 to 20 January 2018 in Vienna were held Vienna arbitration days – leading arbitration conference in Austria, organized by Austrian arbitration association (Arb|Aut), Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC), “Austrian Yearbook on International Arbitration” editorial office, ICC Austria and UNCITRAL.

Anna Grishchenkova, Litigation and International Commercial Arbitration Partner of KIAP, included into list of arbitrators in Austria (VIAC) from 2016, acted as table moderator at the conference with topic devoted to New Ways in Arbitration.

The main conference topic was stated as New Fields and New Ways of Arbitration. The Keynote speech was given by Maxi Scherer, Counsel at Wilmer Hale, Professor of Law at Queen Mary, University of London. The event brought together renowned experts in International commercial arbitration from all around the world.

International Commercial Arbitration

KIAP International Commercial Arbitration practice was formed in a separate division in 2014. The practice is recommended by Russian ranking Pravo.Ru-300 and Pravo-300 "Sympathy rating". The practice is headed by Anna Grishchenkova, partner, recommended by the international legal rankings Chambers Europe, Chambers Global, Legal 500 EMEA, Best Lawyers and Pravo-300 "Sympathy rating". Anna was granted the status of Member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). During 2016-2018 was a regional representative of Russia in the IBA Litigation Committee, in 2018 was appointed a Co-Chair of the Young Litigation Lawyers Forum of IBA. Anna is also a Regional Ambassador at HK45 - Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre’s committee (HKIAC). She is included into list of arbitrators in Austria (VIAC), Kuala Lumpur (KLRCA), Hong Kong (HKIAC), Russia (RAA), the Board Member of the Arbitration Center. The practice represents clients’ interests in international commercial arbitration in Russia and abroad, as well as before Russian courts in matters involving recognition and enforcement of international commercial arbitration awards, provides consultations on arbitration agreements, its validity and enforceability, on facilitation of out-of-court settlements and on strategies for international commercial arbitration.
