Anna Grishchenkova, partner of dispute resolution and international commercial arbitration practice, became a Regional Ambassador of Russia in HK45 – the Committee at Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC). HK45 is a group for professionals all over the world who are under 45 years old interested in sharing experience, using career opportunities and promoting international commercial arbitration in Asia.
A prospective Regional Ambassador is elected based on recommendations of HKIAC and arbitration experts.
In her new position Anna will develop cooperation between professionals in Hong Kong and Russia, promote international commercial arbitration and represent Russians in Hong Kong. The function of the Regional Ambassador is inter alia to keep users updated on opportunities and new developments of arbitration in Hong Kong and provide insight into the practical aspects of HKIAC work.
According to the Queen Mary, University of London and White & Case's 2015 International Arbitration Survey, HKIAC is the third most preferred and used arbitral institution worldwide and the most favoured arbitral institution outside of Europe. Having received Global Arbitration Review's innovation award of 2014, HKIAC is constantly at the forefront of innovative arbitration practice.
